Privacy Policy

RebusAI is built around the idea that your data is your data. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect

When you use RebusAI we collect only the information needed to run our service for you:

  • Account information: name, email, business name, time zone, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
  • Content you create: the prompts you submit, the websites/courses/ebooks/etc. our AI generates for you, and the assets you upload (logos, images, text).
  • Usage telemetry: which features you use, how long generations take, error events. Used to improve the product and respond to support requests.
  • Billing information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your card number.
  • Lead-magnet email captures: if you build a lead magnet, the emails your visitors submit are stored in your account and are owned by you.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use your generated content to train third-party models.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not read your account content for any reason except (a) to operate the service, (b) to investigate reported abuse, or (c) when required by law.

Where your data lives

Customer data is stored on AWS (us-west-1) in encrypted databases. Generated images and assets are stored in S3 with private ACLs. Backups are encrypted at rest and rotated every 30 days.

AI providers and your prompts

To generate content, we send your prompts and context to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, and others). These providers each have their own privacy policies and we choose providers that offer enterprise terms with no-training-on-customer-data guarantees. Your prompts are not used to train models.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Export all your content and data at any time from Account → Export.
  • Delete your account, which permanently removes your content within 30 days.
  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you (GDPR / CCPA).
  • Correct or update any inaccurate personal information.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics is privacy-respecting and anonymized at the collection point.
